Out of the three books in this first Mistborn trilogy, I think that this one is the weakest pacing wise. Though it has been a while since I've read them, as you may have noticed, so I can't at this time speak to the specific plot points that make me feel this way. Despite this, I would recommend this book to any fan of the first book as well as to nearly anyone with even the vaguest interest in fantasy. Because this book is part reference work and part anthology I would only recommend it to people who already have read at least one of Brandon's other Cosmere works. It is, like the strong majority of his works, well written, but if you haven't read his other works you just won't have the necessary context to truly appreciate it.
