A must-read for this day and age. Drawing parallels to the history of capitalism and colonization, this book covers all things genAI from the perspective of a variety of workers, toiling in the shadows to power various stages of an extraction machine. It sends out a powerful and clear message: the future of this technology is not yet written. To win this, we need to build transnational solidarity and power, and the time to do so is now.
